Pilgrimage Attractions in Mathura and Vrindavan:

Shri Krishna Janmabhumi:
It is the birth place of Lord Krishna and is the major pilgrimage site. The stone slab in the temple marks as the original birth place of Lord Krishna. Now there is a small temple with the prison inside which marks as the original birth place of Lord Krishna.

Dwarkadhish Temple:
This temple has been built in the early 19th century by Seth Gokuldas of Gwalior. This temple is also dedicated to Lord Krishna and it attracts lots of pilgrims from all the parts of the country.

Ranghbhumi:
This is known to be the place where Lord Krishna has killed Kansa and freed his parents.

Vishram Ghat:
This is the most important ghat which is located at the river Yamuna, as it is said the Lord Krishna took rest after killing King Kansa.

Banke Bihari Temple:
This is the temple that has been built by Haridas Swami, a contemporary of the six Goswami's. He has discovered the Banke Bihari at Nidhivana, in the popular banks where the Banke Bihari was worshiped earlier. Banke Bihari has moved from here and the temple was constructed in 1864. It is the most important temple in Vrindavan which is mostly worshiped in the month of Shravan during the Jhulan Yatra.

ISKCON Temple:
ISKCON is the abbreviation of International Society for the Krishna Consciousness which was established in the year 1966. The ISKCON society has been developed world wide with the 6000 temples all over the world and having 190,000 devotees from all round the globe. The major objective of the society is to promote the well being of the society by teaching the science of Krishna according to the Bhagwad Gita and the other Vedic scripts of India.

Yamuna River:

Yamuna river is one of the most sacred river of the country. The major reason for being one of the most sacred is that the it flows through the Mathura and Vrindavan and therefore it is said that it has been connected to the earlier times of Lord Krishna.

By Air: The nearest Airport from the Mathura Vrindavan is Agra which is located at around 67 kilometers from the Vrindavan. There is regular flights that operates from the major countries like Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi and Khajuraho. The nearest international airport is Delhi which connected to every part of the world.

By Rail: Vrindavan is itself a railway station and the major railway station is Mathura located on the Delhi-Chennai and the Delhi-Mumbai main line. There are number of express trains that connects the cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Agra.

By Roadways:
